Good condition
Fun course. A little slow from inconsiderate multiple ball playing twosome but.....
Will play again.
Wanted to play Hickory Heights before an upcoming tournament in a few weeks. I was pleasanty sprised. The couse was in excellent shape. Weather was perfect and my friend and I enjoyed our round. We will be back.
HIckory Heights is in great shape
They are continually improving and spring has greens growing well.
Always a great value
Fun track with some holes that will make you debate your club selection. Decent shape and very relaxed staff as well as other golfers.
The 18th is probably my favorite closing hole with a beautiful view and chance to drive the par four green.
No better bang for your buck in the area.
Lots of blind tee shots
Several holes you need to know the distance to the turns of the doglegs, as some are blind tee shots. A few greens are growned, so next thing to impossible to hold. Greens rounded nice. If you have hip or knee problems this might not be a course for you with all the hills. Even being a shorter course it is challenging as I considered it a Target golf course.
Solid Course, Needs a Little Love
The course is in rough shape, but otherwise enjoyable. Playing there for the first time can be a bit confusing since there really is no clear signage for directions. Similarly, there are no indicators for where the tee box begins. Other than that, it's a fairly simple, open course. Could be worse.
One of the Best
Always a great time !!!! Course is well maintained !! Friendly and courteous staff!! Nothing beats the chicken running around the clubhouse !!!
Good Course, Bad Cartpaths
Great public course, seems as if they’re currently starting work on repave the cart paths. Be sure to store any loose items in your pockets before risking in the cart path. I didn’t realize I dropped my AirPods until I was handed the case a few holes later with missing earbuds which likely fell out due to the severe turbulence of the cart path. There are plenty of other documented comments on the cart path but I took it for granted and lost my earbuds so beware!
Good for working on your game.
Its a good course for using every club in the bag. My complaint is when will courses stop people from playing music so loud it can be heard three holes away? If someone wants to listen to music put one ear bud in your ear. The music should only be at a volume that you can hear in your cart.
Relaxing Course
Great local course, greens were in excellent condition. Fairways were a bit tall, but it’s July so I assume heat as something to do with that. Has some cool holes with water obstacles.
