Excellent course, great shape!! Greens were fast, nice!

The course is absolutely great! The conditions were better than anywhere I've played this year- fast greens, perfect fairways, and just overall well maintained. Played with a buddy as a 2-some. We were behind a bunch of 4-somes, but you have to expect that - played in exactly 4 hours on a Saturday which was great. This course is an exceptional value- the best conditions around, and lower prices than others in the area. I'll be back often...

When in the area, play this course. My buddy and I arrived just time for our 8:13 tee time, the parking lot and bag drop teeming with golfers, immediately I am thinking we are paired with another twosome and a long day on the course, not so! We were greeted nicely in the pro shop, were told that all the activity was a Golf League and they were going off the back shotgun, what a relief!. We went to the 1st tee and were greeted again nicely, course in excellent shape, nice mix of holes, some challenging shots to be made. Greens looked weird with splotches, but were as smooth and true as could be. All in all a great little Gem here, from tee to green and a nice staff to boot. Even the prices on hats in the pro shop were good! Plus $25.00 w/cart for Seniors can't be beat.

Love this course! Challenges all throughout. Greens are lightning fast and looking great! There is a new restaurant/pub opening this summer onsite.

The roll on the greens was good but, they were quite hard. If you hit a nice shot on the green's most times it did not hold. The Trap's were the worst I can remember. They dirty and had alot of rock's in them.

Since moving to PA in October 2015, I have played this course about 15 times. I played a handful of times in the fall and considering the time of year, the course was in good shape. I was surprised there was not a restaurant or bar area, but I understand there was some changes being implemented. But I have played a good amount of time this spring and have noticed that this course will be in great shape once the weather becomes more consistent. The pace of play the last couple of rounds was slow, so a recommendation would be to have a starter available or a marshal when the course is busy. Overall I enjoy this course and given my work schedule, I can play during the week when it is not as busy. I can't wait to play again, hopefully this week.

This is the 8 season of playing golf for me,, I'm 52, This year I decided not to join a club I would rather select courses that I heard are ones to play and make a road trip for a day. Book online and go solo. Crossgates is the 4th this year. An hour and a half from home due north to Lancaster area.
The weather was borderline cold to uncomfortable, my golf balls never seemed to get the distance that my clubs could even clubbing up seemed to be 1 short from the fairways. Short game was good Putting was good to except how fast these greens were,, wow " you gonna stop or what " If youre playing for change, make them put it out , no gimmie's, you'll collect more often than not. I always get a yardage book for 2 reasons momento as well as a guideline they are handy to have for blind shots and broken fairways. There are many elevation changes here, I'm ok with that ( Deerfield Passholder last year ) so I am very comfortable with wedges UP to an elevated green.
Each hole is very fair meaning you have a chance to score, Paved cart paths,,, love them,, and each hole is clearly indicated with BIG numbers that means alot to over 50 people. The entire place was way Beyond well manicured and clean.
I finished with 91 45/46 seems to be my average score on unknown courses. quick tip ,byo,
This is a nice course go play it.

Course was in great shape for this time of year. Played a round in less than 2 1/2 hours as I was a single. Hopefully the weather holds out and as I will definitely play the course again.

Very fun golf course that you have to think your way around. Very good value and we look forward to going back.

Recommend the green flash from the bar if your into IPAs!

We had heard that the course lost all of the greens to a rough winter so we were expecting them to not be in good shape. The course and the greens were both in very good shape!

Beautiful course, very challenging for the first time playing there. There was an outing in front of us, pace of play was very slow on the back nine. I would highly recommend this course to anyone.

Great course, short enough to score great but does have enough trouble to keep you thinking.

Greens need to be better. 2 were temporaryas they lost one and the other was fine and not used for some reason. Layout had a lot of repetition. Fairways are down low an a lot of elevated greens. Would go back for a scramble and to introduce it to another to see their impressions.

Horrible temporary green on 11, and #3 might as well be. Can't believe they are still trying to charge full rates with the course in the shape it is in. To make matters worse, the back nine was backed up three holes deep with slow mixed foursomes, and no ranger in sight.

Winter took a toll on the greens. Staff is doing a good job repairing them. League days are Tuesday and pin placement is equivalent to the U.S. Open. Overall one of my favorite local courses to go to.

They overcharged me in the amount of $18 however the course was fairly nice. Some greens could have been in better condition but its a decent public course that has a fairly challenging layout.

This was a nice course for the money on Golf Now. I would not want to pay the full price for this course. It would have been very disappointing.
I will go back if I can find a good price. This is a short course under 6000 yards.

A few of the greens were a looking a little rough but you can noticeably tell they were actively repairing the greens. The course is overall short but can be challenging, there's many fairways that border the creek and dense woods. For the price I would highly recommend it.
