Gilbertsville Golf Club in New Hanover Township is tucked away among the rolling hills of Montgomery County. The 27-hole public course is divided into three nines, called the Red, White, and Blue. The Red and White were the club's original 18 holes when it first opened in 1967, and the Blue nine was added 30 years later. Being one of the older nines, the White Course has a more traditional layout with small, mostly flat greens and wide fairways lined with trees. It's not the most formidable round at Gilbertsville G.C. but it does have a few challenges in store. There are some tricky doglegs and while water may only come into play on two holes, one of these -- the par-5 second -- will leave a lasting impression with a carry over a lake and a meandering stream that edges the right side and then cuts in front of the green.

Made a few craters on the greens and happily used the repair tool. Unfortunately choked on my few birdie putts. Photo submitted by u000007953538 on 11/18/2013

Greens in good condition and reasonably fast. Fairways hard and fast; most greens had openings leading up to the green. Rough reasonable at 4" to 6"; several greens used un-mowed areas around greens to increase degree of difficulty. Good choice for a busy Father's Day.
Always a good choice
I’ve played GVille a handful of times. It’s not that long and they do have theee nine hole courses to choose from. The course was in great shape and well manicured. Greens were fast, not that challenging, but roll true. Not the greatest layout, depending on what combination of 9’s you play, but great course for the price! Great staff, always friendly.
Course was in excellent condition especially the greens. Staff did a great job getting us out around an outing
Wet Track / Dry track
3-9 hole courses here. I started on the White course. It was cart path only and the fairways were full of clippings. Difficult to put equipment on the ground when it has been so wet. The Blue was next. Much dryer in great shape. 90 degree carts. I had a single in front of me who played quickly so I felt I had the back 9 to myself.
Difficult to keep score on the Golf now App but I managed.
Great layout and the 3 nines insure you don’t get board. Since this was the first warm day there were lots of rookies out who lacked course etiquette ie a twosome that took selfies after ever shot, foursome that spent 10 minutes looking for drives and then putted like they were playing the Masters except none of the putts went in
Good value
First time playing here. Course was in good shape, fairways were clean, and greens rolled well. Great value with the Golf Now booking. The Red was easy to walk, as was the White. Staff was very friendly. We played the blacks on the Red course and blues on the White course and it was a nice challenge. I definitely recommend.
Wet course
The problem was the issue that only 1 of the 3 9 holes was open. Course did not update Golfnow on the condition. Doing the winter GolfNow should confirm that the course is open. Before posting the HOTDEAL
Poor Conditions!
Booked in advance - nothing on website indicating only ONE of the three 9 hole layouts would be open. Drove there in time for tee time - had to play the Blue Nine twice - other two courses closed - course was extremely wet - some flags not in and conditions were AWFUL! We should of been comped for the round - no fun! From a "customer service" viewpoint this was a disaster!
Course was in great shape
Played Red and Blue. Both in good condition and well kept. Would definitely return.
Gibertsville
Even cart path only is not a bad thing on this course. A course that can be walked.
Great Course
Course is mainly flat. Good way to receive a workout and able to work on my swing.
