Aubrey's Dubbs Dred Golf Course sprawls across an idyllic landscape of rolling hills and farmland dotted with mature trees. The stunning views that span seemingly for miles make this course one of the most scenic in western Pennsylvania. The tranquil surroundings give the course an air of seclusion, but it's conveniently located just minutes from downtown Butler. Beyond the beautiful setting, the golf course itself offers a challenging yet fair round. The front nine provides a gentle start with softly rolling hills and medium-sized greens. The holes are mostly straightforward with few hidden tricks. The fairways are lined with trees but they are wide and forgiving. Aubrey's Dubbs Dred Golf Course's back nine gets tougher with more dramatic changes in elevation and fast-breaking greens. There are also more doglegs and strategically placed bunkers on the back nine.

Bad Experience

Let me start by I really actually like the couse, but the staff and navigation of the couse is awful. The pretty lady in the club house was very rude and asked me why i didnt bring my print out with me. I explained to her that I used my golfnow.com app, but she looked at me like i was the dumbest person on earth and it took her 15 minutes to verify my info even tho i showed it to her on my phone ?? There was no water on the couse to drink even though it was the middle of the summer. This is one of them courses where there is no signs anywhere. I kept driving by the blue tee boxes and did not know where I was going on the golf course, this probably happened 5 times. As i said before if the couse was managed a little better i would probably recommend it. But I will never play again even though I payed $13 with a cart.

Hardest back nine I've ever played.

Front nine pretty easy for the average golfer. Flat with nice size fairways. I've been playing golf for 50 years and the back nine is the toughest nine holes of golf anywhere. Tight fairways, hills, trees, and small greens. Great test for a par shooting golfer. It makes the average golfer pull his hair out. One good thing about the back nine is that we found about a dozen golf balls looking for the balls we hit out.
