Reader: 'At all costs, avoid spending money' at Pa.'s Silver Spring G.C.

(Nov. 22, 2005) -- The Silver Spring Golf Course in Mechanicsburg, Pa., have THE ABSOLUTE RUDEST STAFF -- including the owner -- I have ever encountered. At all costs, avoid spending any money at a place where customers are not appreciated nor respected.

The course itself is a semi-interesting layout, but is almost always in bad shape. The positive is that it is not difficult to get a tee time, probably because others have experienced the treatment we did. I will never play the course again.
