Friendly staff but lack luster course
The course was not in very good shape, divots scattered throughout and we were not given sand to repair them. The tee boxes were rock solid, we actually snapped tees just trying to get them into the ground. Pace of play was okay, a little backed up usually waiting for someone in front of you. This usually isn’t a problem but we had a group behind us that shot into us 4 times while we were waiting for the green to clear. This isn’t really the courses fault obviously but could be something to be said about who plays here. Overall would not recommend but again the staff was excellent and they should be praised for that.
Not a bad course
Fairways and greens in good shape. Tee boxes absolutely horrible, like playing out of the rough and not level.
Challenging course for sure with some par 4’s playing as long as the par 5’s, and a 230yd finishing par 3! Will definitely go back.
Very Nice Sunday Afternoon Golf Experience
My wife and I enjoyed our first round at Pleasant Valley. We were fortunate that the starter paired us up with another couple who play the course fairly often.
The only bed part of the day was at the turn. I cannot ever remember it taking more than a few minutes to get two hot dogs and two drinks. It took over fifteen minutes and then I think I was over charged. I was in too much of a rush to get back to the tenth tee to try to figure it out. But twenty dollars for two hot dogs and tow drinks seems a bit high.
Very Pleasant Suprise
Visiting relatives so I picked this course due to hot deal availability and the price. The course was in excellent condition and the greens were fast and true. Full tee sheet but did not wait to play and pace on course was great I was paired up with a friendly couple that had lots of course layout experience and knew the course history. Overall, an excellent day.
Not a long course but fun, and in great condition
Greens were fast and rough was long. Made the course fun and challenging. And the price is out of this world.
Just a Fun Course to Play
The staff treat you like a friend. They understand what's important: getting you onto the course with as little fuss as possible.
I love this course. The back 9 is challenging because it slipped one way found away from the clubhouse and slopes the other heading into the clubhouse. Tests your skills throughout the course
First time out this year
Course was in good shape for Feb.
Sand traps and tee boxes need work in the spring.
Could have used a marshall out in the course to keep things moving. Faster.
Staff is always friendly.
Always a fun course to play.
Will be out again
When weather and schedule permit.
Thanks,
Ron
Just a Fun Course to Play
Imagine a course where the staff is happy to accommodate its patrons. There's an opening and you can go off early...done. Want to drive around in brand new golf carts...done. Need a quick bite before you tee off...done.
The course is in the countryside and the hills, trees, and views are nice. The course is challenging but fair. The tees are varied to support all types of golfers.
Friendliness and fun best describe this venue.
Great Value Course
If you are a beginner golfer or trying to get better this is the place to play. The course is mostly straight forward holes with little dog legs. The staff are super friendly. The course is super affordable for its condition. I had a great experience and will be back again!
Great Course. Lot’s of fun!
If only there were sone marshalls on the course. People are walking on and skipping holes and ending up in front of you. It would be perfect if only someone enforced the rules and etiquette. Staff is amazing , accommodating and friendly!
