No carts
Not enough carts. Delayed start time while we waited for people to finish 18. No beverage cart or water to drink.
Ehh.
the drive was about an hour for me. For the price and drive there’s nicer courses around that I would play. Pace of play was just under 5hrs. The tee boxes and fairways were in good shape as well as the greens but they were slow. The rough was thick the layout is cool, few holes I didn’t like. it wasn’t overall that tough of a course but challenging as you had to play smart shots. If it was closer to me I would probably go back but for the drive n price I would most likely not
Great course
Only neg greens are even cut they are very hard to read dry
Great course with good value
The course Presents a challenge and rewards good shots but isn’t terribly difficult. Friendly staff. Course is in good condition
Beautiful day
Played on a Tuesday morning. Staff, as always, friendly and efficient. Course was in very good shape, except as usual the bunkers, but I noted they had a local rule that you could lift and place your ball in the bunkers. They know it’s an issue. The restaurant is inviting, spotless and the food is quite good. Overall, excellent value.
My new favorite
Course is a lot of fun. Just the right level of challenge. Staff are all very nice. Tee boxes, fairways, sand traps and greens all in very good shape.
You are rewarded for hitting in the fairway - the rough is on the thick side.
Not one to give online reviews but this place is solid, friendly staff, well priced, everyone likes to complain about pace of play these days but gives no numbers, we finished behind a foursome in easily less than 4 hours stopped for dogs at the turn as well
Another good round
Played on a Wednesday morning in a twosome. Fairly busy, but no complaints about pace of play; we got around in 3:45. Rough was very thick and lush and I was in it a lot. Overall, in good shape, but the bunkers don’t seem quite as nice as the rest of the course. Restaurant is very good and service is friendly. Good value.
Overpriced
Course is okay but much nicer courses around for $72 or less during the week... Would be fine if they were charging $45-50 but just way too much for what you get here. Bunkers weren't even groomed. I'd prefer any of these other courses: Ravens claw, lederach, Bella vista, turtle creek, kimberton, blackwood, golden oaks...
Also the restaurant is so slow.
Poor day at Spring Hollow
Course was packed and tees moved way up by most forward tees. Awful pace of play. Quit after nine. Conditions for January were fine
Beautiful Day
Course conditions were top notch, especially the greens. As with most public courses, the sand traps could use some work, but they were better than most public courses. Some, but not all, roughs were a little too tall/thick, fairways and first cuts were well-maintained. Overall, course was very enjoyable to play. I will be back.
