Blue/Red at Shawnee Inn & Golf ResortWith a unique location on an island in the Delaware River, Shawnee Inn & Golf Resort boasts 27 scenic holes of championship golf. The island dates back to long ago when Pennsylvania was still covered by glacial ice fields. The Wisconsin Glacier, one of the last glaciers, formed the island when it melted. Today, the gently rolling landscape is abundant with trees and wildlife, providing a secluded atmosphere that is perfect for golf. The three nines are played in three different 18-hole combinations. The Blue/Red Course crisscrosses the landscape, offering beautiful views of the surrounding Poconos Mountains along the way. The layout is mostly flat but there are some strategically placed bunkers to keep it interesting. In addition to the three courses, there is also a nine-hole, par-3 course.
