All around disappointing
This was a lesson learned for me. Just because it's rated 4 stars and offers a good deal price-wise, doesn't mean it will offer anything but the bare minimum. This is a prime example of a no-frills type of course and if you don't have any expectations for the money you spend it's fine. I however am used to playing my home course with twice the amenities, character, and quality of upkeep for half the price, so I was quite disappointed. I won't be coming back here, and unless you are a beginner like the other reviewers talk about, don't waste your money here. There are plenty of better options in the area.
A quiet gem
I suppose being 9 holes many people do not try this course, and I like it that way. I have played 18 here 3 times and will keep returning.
The course has a few challenging holes mixed in and is fun to play.
I would say its not too difficult. It is a very enjoyable course.
Also, never too crowded, like other local 9 hole courses.
Great little 9 hole course!
Walk or ride, this course is very nice. Wide open fairways aid the beginner but there is enough challenge for skilled players as well.
Great beginner course
Took my girlfriend here for her first round ever. Very accommodating and wide open. Very affordable and fun to play.
Solid course
Great course to start out the year on. Undergoing some work on the one green, but overall well maintained
Great practice course
Sweetwater is a perfect practice course. The course is fairly open and for the beginner you can play without losing too many balls.
The course set up allows you to come back easily from a lousy tee shot or an "accidental" slice into the other fairways.
Most of the holes are fairly straight and lets the inexperienced player practice hit straight instead of worrying about hitting around doglegs.
I will be playing this course several more times as I contine to learn the game of golf.
Nice Course with challaging holes
This is a nice course to play for cheap money. well maintained and a fun layout. I am a average golfer scoring from the high 40's to low 50's and I find this course pleasing to play
sweet water
Overall in good shape. Greens are hard and dont hold well as I remembered but in much better shape then it will be in summer when it gets dry.
ok
Course layout is confusing. Need more signs and markers. Some rough spots on th e course bit condition was ok for 9 hole course
It's a place people use to practice, or where Geezers go to keep from getting moldy... Adjust your expectations. or join the Army - that will fix your perspective... It's a maturation process... Bless...
