Course was very enjoyable to play!
The conditions and staff were great, challenging course but fair, anyone would enjoy this course!
Good course, great value
This course offers a few challenging holes and is laid out fairly well. I have played this course a few times this year and it seems as though there are improvements each time I play. The staff is friendly and the course is kept in good condition. One of the more enjoyable courses in the area. I will continue to make this a regular course.
Enjoyable experience
Enjoyed the course and found it to be a very good value on Golfnow. I played from the senior tees and found the course to be challenging. Some blind tee shots but overall good sight lines. Forward tee boxes could use some TLC. Greens were good. Will play again.
Only Good for a Hot Deal
I played this course as a hot deal for $25.00, and that is all its worth in my opinion. The full price of $55.00 is ridiculous for this course. Nobody is filling or repairing divots and there are no course markings. You have to "guess" where to shoot the ball. I will not be a returning to play this course unless its free!
Thoroughly enjoy this course....
Played Blue Shamrock for the second time with a few buddies in about a month. Thoroughly enjoy this course. It's somewhat challenging but not ridiculous. The tee box, fairways and greens are kept in great shape. I love the Shamrock shaped tee box starting the back nine. The staff is awesome and friendly!!! Keep up the great job.
Neat course
Nice course. Nice mountain views. Friendly staff. Nice Facilities. I'll definitely play there again.
great old traditional course
the course was in excellent condition, greens very fast staff very friendly
wonderful conditions
this course is challenging, but fair. a perfect manicured course with a very good variety of holes. I have nothing I can be negative about by playing this course. will definitely play here many more times, and it is 75 minutes from my home. play it and enjoy it.
Blue Shamrock
Excellent staff and restaurant . Course was in great shape and pace of play was phenominal. I will be back often!
Very nice course
Recommend this couse for anyone. Plays fair and in great condition!
Excellent
Staff very friendly. Played in 3 1/2 hrs on a Sunday morning as a foursome. Course in great condition.
Beautiful course
The only thing bad was a couple of the fairways and some of the greens were being replaced other than that a gorgeous tough course
This course could be better marked
Some great holes but if playing it for the first time and you don't know the layout you can get into trouble fast. I question some of the yard markers and can use more of them.
best public course in lehigh valley and poconos
was member when this course was private. new ownership group doing a tremendous job improving course and clubhouse. staff is awesome. greens best i have seen in 10 years. bring all your shots and play the correct set of tees! a must play for one and all. again, play the correct set of teesand you will enjoy the experience!

Hidden gem.
Did not take advantage of the clubhouse so I don't know about the food/beverages. Course was in great shape. Plenty long from the Men's tees 6300+ on par 71 on hills. Paid $54 on a Sunday morning. Can play Mon-Fri after 2pm walking for $25 an absolute steal. Used to be private. No houses near by. Absolutely isolated. Hidden gem.
Wonderful golf course
I measured five par 4s longer than 400 yards with another two at about 390 yards (we played the intermediate green tees). It was actually refreshing to hit all the clubs in my bag, considering I usually hit a driver followed by a short iron or wedge at most other courses.
The greens were in excellent shape (save for two under repair). The carts not only had a green layout showing the pin placement, but also the slopes of the greens. I can't for the life of me figure out why all courses don't do this. This definitely saved me a few shots since many of the slopes were brutal to putt downhill and I was able to choose the correct distance with my approach shots based on leaving the ball underneath the hole for an uphill put.
The only negatives were that my Garmin GPS watch did not match up with the course layout since they rearranged some of the holes from the previous layout. My GPS indicated we should have started on #18 while we actually started on #2. a few other holes were flip-flopped as well.
I know this is nitpicking, but I hate when some young kid is waiting for you at #18 to clean your clubs for a tip. Not that I mind tipping, but the parking lot was a pretty long walk down from the cart return, instead of standing there and merely wiping my clubs down for a minute or two, they should have these kids meet us in the parking lot to return our carts.
Looooong course
Course was in good shape. But not what I was expecting for a former country club. No yardage markers other than red, white & blue cement circles in fairway. I play much nicer courses in the Drums, Pa. area for a much cheaper price. Could use another set of tees.
Course was player friendly
Me and my partner had fun ,we played from senior tees and found the course player friendly
Transition
This course is transitioning from private to public with some course modifications underway, so some conditions were a bit off. Overall nice course though
Nice course but slow play
Course is nice. Staff is friendly but the pace of play was awful.
I think when you book through Golf Now they should inform you that there is a tournament. We did not get out at our initial tee time.
