Don’t Go
I know it’s September but come on, The Tee boxes are not Tee boxes they match what the Fairways look like. A pasture field .
fun day of golfing
The weather was perfect, All the staff was very friendly and helpful. For the first time we decided to eat there after playing. The food was excellent, and the staff there was also very friendly.
Billbacker
This course is a hidden gem. If they get tee boxes and roughs weed free, be gorgeous course. Weed and Feed would do wonders
Greens were in good shape Fairways not so much
pretty fall day made it nice with the views however the fairways and tee boxes were in need of help, most greens were nice. Golf now charged $50 per golfer, we could have paid $29. Staff was nice and apologized for the overcharge. We were given a credit to come back..
Getting Better
the course was shut down in the fall of 2018 to reseed all the fairways and the greens, they opened back up in May of 2019. The wet conditions of 2018 was hard on all courses and the staff closed the course and allowed it the time it needed to heal. It is a real treat when the greens are rolling fast, huge greens and well worth the trip up.
Outstanding Greens and Mountain Views
The course is in outstanding condition given the recent very heavy rains. The fairways are soft almost everywhere and wet in more than a few places. Carts are restricted to the paved paths on only one hole. Greens are well drained and simply perfect.
We teed off about 9:00 AM on a Monday morning. There was no one immediately in front of or behind us for the first 15 holes! We set our own pace of play.
The course played long because it was so soft and wet. There are lots of elevation changes, some doglegs, several creek crossings, and one pond to make things interesting. There are lots of scenic views, lots of wildlife (especially birds), and a newly renovated pro shop.
Carts are electric; ours was clean and worked very well. We did not try the recently renovated snack bar.
good day, long day
This course plays very enjoyably. However, expect slow, lumbering players to make your round last forever. There will be no marshall to keep you on pace.
Nice Course for the Money
Nine of the greens were punched when we went. Golfnow had this listed, so we knew that going in. Price was great and the transaction was smooth. No problems in the pro shop. We were able to play without running into groups or being pushed from behind. Greens were a bit firm, but stayed true. Definitely looking to return in the future.
This is a good course to play if you like a traditional layout in beautiful farmland.
The day I played it rained for the first 5 holes and the course had already absorbed several previous rainfalls. The course was very wet but playable. I liked the variety of holes. Some of the par 4 holes are less than 350 yards in length but some are over 400 yards long. The final hole is a challenging 587 yard par 5. There isn't' a bad hole on the course! I will return next summer!
Tight fairways
Fairways and greens kept nice (another coarse where no one fixes ball marks). Front nine fine backside fairways tight. Carts are rough running and old
Nice course
Went out in the afternoon and everyone was very friendly and quick on the course. Those that were not were quick to allow us to play through. Just note that the county is dry so bring your own if you would like to have a drink on the course.
Very nice course, I plan on playing it again.
Tee boxes, fairways, and greens were all in decent shape. Some areas were under repair but were well marked.
