Trail/Blue at Blue Ridge Trail Golf Club
About
Blue Ridge Trail Golf Club boasts 27 holes of championship golf that are played in three 18-hole combinations. The three different nines are natural named Blue, Ridge, and Trail. Tucked away in the hills of northeastern Pennsylvania, the golf courses provide stunning scenery and views. All of the holes were carefully carved from the surrounding woodlands and molded into the hillsides. An abundance of trees characterizes the course, giving all of the holes a secluded feel that is further enhanced by the design, which doesn't feature any parallel fairways. The Trail/Blue Course combines the shortest and longest nines but both are considered slightly more challenging than the Ridge nine. The Trail nine possesses two of the four water holes at the club. There is a combination for every skill level and four sets of tees make the nines even more accommodating.

Mountain gem
Great layout with excellent conditions. Attentive staff. Minor complaint, no one marshaling pace of play.
Always pleases, greens and traps good
I’ve played here about five times the past year which is a lot since it’s far from my home. But I enjoy it every time. I play in all seasons and the courses are kept in top shape. I like the variety. Greens putt consistently. Sand traps are full of nicely kept sand.
They run it pretty well. Looking forward to using the dining area soon post Covid. Driving range is good. Lots of tees for all skills.
Recommendations I’d make are to change the loud speakers that announce names that are up to tee soon. I’d put one over AT the range so the one by the building doesn’t have to be so loud and interrupt teeing off. It’s the one aspect that doesn’t match the usual professionally run course.
I’ve walked the course and the holes are widely spaced at times. So it’s a long walk.
I greatly dislike video commercials to play on the cart screen while I golf. I want to leave that garbage behind when I get away to play. I’ll pay a extra dollar or so. Some other courses started doing that and I hope the trend does quickly. It may make me avoid courses that do it. I feel that strongly about it. Give us a break from the media
But again I like the course and operations here.
Good value, Interesting holes
Played for the first time per recommendation and really enjoyed it. Conditions in the morning started to rough with the rain and multiple layers we were all forced to wear due to the cold as well, but the course was fun. Course requires you to hit certain spots to avoid hazards and the greens were very fast for how wet they were. I’m excited to try this course again this summer when it’s warmer and the conditions are better.
Beautiful layout, great value for the money
There was some uncertainty about which pair of 9 hole courses I was set to play on, but it worked out fine with the way they manage the pace by GPS. Greens are fast, with lots of forced carry over brushland/wasteland, so bring ammo. Blue course had great views, some tall tee shots. Bunkering isn't very snug to the greens here, so most of the challenge is getting it on the correct area with the approach shots. Well maintained.
One of the best in the area
Blue Ridge never disappoints. Course is always in top shape. Only downside is I never seem to get to play Blue, it's usually always Ridge to Trail or Trail to Ridge. Blue is my favorite 9 of their 27 beautiful holes. I play here multiple times a season and that won't change anytime soon.
Spectacular
I love playing this course. I play it a few times every year, and never had a bad round. The carts have on board maps with distances to the hole, which help out immensely. Also, being able to order foor through the displays is great, and they have some excellent food.
Always well maintained.
Early season round that met all expectations. Greens were areated but still nice for time of season.
Chilly Morning at a Great Facility
Basically had the course to myself and I couldn't have had a better time. Great staff and condition. Hope to play again someday.
Great course
Great course pace of play and courteous staff. Must play GPS on Carts and great course conditions considering the winter we had. Tony was a pleasure to work with
March!
Great course and fun round as always-nice job getting it ready for play so early!!
Great Day to be Out
After a long cold snowy winter what a pleasure to get out and golf. One or two holes still have a little snow and one tee box was so frozen that getting a tee in was impossible. Otherwise a perfect day for golf with really good course conditions.
Blue Ridge pa
Good value wonderful pace of play .
Great , friendly and well runn golf course.
Must play all three 9’s
Springtime
1st time out this year and first time at this course. Course was very playable. My wife, is a beginner, really enjoyed herself. Pace of play very slow, played 9 instead of 18. Having said that, everyone was out there. Course was in “spring time condition” a little soggy, greens a little bumpy, tee boxes were in good shape. Course was very forgiving. Truth is everything was great for the first weekend of spring. Will play here again!
