Improvement needed
Greens & fairways fine. Cart paths terrible. Ball washers bad. Overall maintenance needs work. Would be a great course for beginners & older players but not for a dime more than $25. Short but with elevation. Lots of room for improvements.
Slow and angry
The slowest round of golf surrounded by angry “golfers”. The course is in pretty good shape, but the greens are the just a closer cut version of the fairways.
1st time out
Course was a little rough, the weather hasn't been great. Play moved right along, greens were a little long, and it was a good value.
The fairways are very dry and in need of water, the greens are bumpy and dry,
Love the greeters
You get greet in the parking lot by friendly dogs. Staff was amazing. Couse is starting to be worked on for spring play.
fun short course
Played here for 20 years. Great staff, plus the 2 dogs there are the best greeters around! Can be a tough course, lots of long par 3s and some tight fairways, water in play for many of the par 3s. Great course to practice your irons.
Nice course
Good play time, great layout. Easy to navigate overall conditions could be improved.
Late Autumn Round at Tree Top GC
I thoroughly enjoyed playing TTGC for the first time on a recommendation of a golf buddy. It is a beautiful rural setting. Nearly half of the holes (8) are par 3s … long par 3s with four of them forced carries over ponds. They have a challenging collection of par 3s (some of them at or over 200-yards in length from the white tees, three of them with water hazards between the tee and green, and one of them a blind tee shot). By comparison, the par 4s and the lone par 5 were shorter than at other courses … but fun too. The greens and tee boxes were in very good late season condition (and I told them so). There were leaves in the fairways even after being blown off by the maintenance team in the morning, but that is “par for the course” for autumn golf. The layout features tree-lined fairways, ponds, sand bunkers, and hilly terrain with some long views over farmland. The rural setting is beautiful. The customer service was commendable. And the round was memorable. I’ll be back and encourage south / central Pennsylvania readers and golfers to experience TTGC too.
Nice short course.
Greens & fairways great. Tee boxes, cart paths need work. Ponds need cleaning. The newer green carts were a great addition. Great course for new & older players.
Nice course for the price
This course is great for the price. Right now the leaves make it a nightmare to find the ball but that’s pretty much everywhere. Par is 65 and it’s a shorter course but I like it. Staff always friendly
Surprisingly Good
Shorter course but requires accurate shots to score well. The Par 3s are mostly 200-230 yards long with trees to both sides (not woods but Trees that will cause you to play a tough shot or just chip back to Fairway.
Most fairways are currently in rough shape with the dry weather over the past month or so but the Greens are in excellent shape and the sand traps are probably the best in the area.
Fairways were nice for most of the season.
Value is great. The layout is also good for walking with gentle hills and tees in close proximity to the previous green.
extremely overpriced
Played the course in June this year before we started getting super dry conditions and there were still super dry and rock solid ground around playing areas. I used to play this place in high school and the conditions haven’t changed at all but the price has gone from maybe 20$ a round to 50$ for a hot deal. Iron valley, royal oaks, deer valley, and armitage are all levels and levels above tree top and have a level or lower daily price but the hot deals for the other courses are 10000% more worth even paying super discounted deal at tree top at the moment. Not sure what management is thinking.
