Needs work
Reminds me of the now closed Powerline course in E-Town. Showing distinct signs of a dying golf course.
Terrible
Had a 7:10 tee time my brother drove from Wilkes-barre, we wanted to play early, because we had plans at 12. We show up at 7am to have them tell us we can not tee off until 9 am, which was too late for us. I think they should have called us and gave us a heads up before wasting our time. I understand the chance of frost for early morning but there was none. And the guy at the shop was just ignorant about it. Will never play there again. Still waiting on my refund from GolfNow.
First Time
I was visiting my daughter and wanted something to do until she got home from work so I decided to look up a place to golf in the area. Nice little course and I would probably go again next time I visit.
Relaxing golf
Tree Top is a fun and accessible course with challenges and great greens
Tree Top
Course was in good condition in spite of the lack of rain in the last month and excessive heat. Length of course is small with more par 3s than most courses but very lengthy(176 to 237 yds). Most holes have moderate slopes both on the fairways and the greens. Both wooded and open holes with limited water on the both nines. Pace of play is good.
We enjoyed Tree Top
There was a busy tournament that morning which made the check in longer than needed. We arrived early, but due to the business and overwhelmed service we started late on the tees. Our group of four had a blast, and love tree Top. I would say that there were a number of doubles behind our group of four adding a lot of pressure and less available time to play each hole. We did offer two groups to go ahead and one was very appreciative and the other had other remarks to say. I would prefer tee times to be spaced out more than ten minutes for better pace of play.
Tree Top Challenges
This was my first time playing this course and for an executive type of course I found it super challenging. The greens were in great shape but they were on the small side and soooo slow and difficult to adjust to. The bigger challenges were the large number of par 3 holes that were 200+ yards long. So bring your A-short game in order to save par. That's what I plan to do NEXT time I play. Still recommend this course.
Nice layout
Greens & fairways in great condition. Tee boxes need work. Cart paths need a lot of work. Great course for beginners & older players. To save money it would add character if they would allow the grass to grow in some areas. Check out Royal Oaks.
Fun and challenging
Stay on the fairway or bring extra balls. Long par 3’s and well placed bunkers. Overall 4.5/5. Just watch the cart path, kind of dangerous
Improvement needed
Greens & fairways fine. Cart paths terrible. Ball washers bad. Overall maintenance needs work. Would be a great course for beginners & older players but not for a dime more than $25. Short but with elevation. Lots of room for improvements.
