Not very nice
Staff was very rude. I have no issue with a starter going over golf etiquette and course rules. However there is a certain way to do it without coming off very rude and miserable. I’m a young golf, 24. I play a 10 handicap. I have never felt like I was being talked down to by an old miserable man, because I am young, until today. I understand you have a job to do. But please make golfers feel welcomed to your course. It will make your job a lot easier.
Gross
Considerable amount of geese and their excrement which is not only gross but a health risk.
GRAMPS O
Holiday Weekend tee times were too close together which made playing conditions Very, Very, SLOW!. Almost all bunkers were down to a Mud Base. No Sand. Greens were choppy in spots and slower than normal.
Nice course, horrible staff
Walked into the pro shop and I’m greeted with a huff and a puff. Then the pace of play wasn’t to greet there was a hold up at the first tee due to the “timekeeper”. Then we get yelled at for using their “new carts” when there was no other carts left. Like I said the course is nice. The staff on the other hand… suuuccckkkksss no worth the money
5.5 hour round
Pace of play is ridiculous. Jamming too many people on the course and no one pushing slow groups.
Fun to play
This is a fun course with a good amount of flat areas and rolling hills. Playing from the blues makes the course more enjoyable with quite a few 400 yard par 4s. Otherwise it’s very short. Only complaint are the bunkers. They were more like dirt than sand; including large rocks. Other than that, well manicured fairways and greens.
Enjoyable Round
Nice layout, excellent greens and fairways. The traps and tee boxes need some work but I’m finding that on most courses. Well stocked halfway house and snack cart cruising the course. Friendly Ranger out checking the pace of play. Four hour twenty minute round.
Friendly staff, beautiful course!
Pictures on website do not do this course justice. Many beautiful holes and course was in excellent condition. We had a great day.
Nice course, but bunkers need to be updated
Fairways, greens, and rough were good but they really need to work on the bunkers. Layout is great. Overall very good course!
Overpriced course poor conditions
If you can overlook the poor conditions of the tee boxes and greens it’s a great course, sadly those are the pretty important in golf.
Uneven and lumpy tee boxes, gravel like traps instead of sand traps, no rakes, raised cups on the greens make putting inconsistent.
When charging $60+ for a course you cannot have conditions of a $20 course.
Nice little course
Played with my nephew who is just starting out in the game. The course wasn't too long but presented some challenges for both of us. The fairways and green were in great shape and they let the rough grow up to where it requires you to have to hit the ball the right way or pay the price.
