Landis Creek Golf Club
About
Just a short drive from King of Prussia, Landis Creek Golf Club (previously known as Limerick Golf Club) is situated right along the border of Chester County and Berks County. Opened in 1965, the course has a traditional layout that is player friendly enough for all skill levels. In 2012, the golf course changed ownership and also underwent a major renovation. The greens were reconditioned and the irrigation system improved, which has elevated the conditions of the course. The layout is a classic links design that is mostly open though there are a few mature trees that call for accuracy. Strategically placed bunkers provide challenges throughout but you won't find much water on this golf course, though there are two lakes that come into play occasionally. Landis Creek Golf Club has some tricky holes but overall it's gentle enough for beginners to approach with confidence.

Needs water in the near future
Greens were good with a few rough spots on some greens. Bunkers were good with about an inch of sand over a firm bottom. It was easy to spin the ball out of them. Fairways were hard and the ball really ran on them. The bad news is a lack of water. The rough is already burnt out in some places and the fairways are starting to suffer. The course needs rain in the near future. I don't recall seeing any sprinkler heads but we were not looking for them..
We will play here again.
Much Improved
I had stayed away from this course, but it was in decent condition and has a decent layout. All good for the money. I’ll be back.
Tee boxes
Tee box soil too compact, need Aeration, very difficult to set a tee.
Rough & Greens
Rough was unbearably high. 1 ft off fairway, ball imbedded down. Tough getting out of high rough, grabbed club, bad. Greens hairy, bumpy, dead spots
Cattle pasture with rough Greens and Tees
Play 18. The pro at the shop was standoffish. The course was in very poor conditions to start the season. The Tees were uneven which would not be as bad of a problem if their wasn't more divots than blades or grass. The course layout is a lot of back and forths, although the fairways are in good condition. The worst issue is that the green look like they are never edged or seeded.
Great shape fair layout
Very good conditions overall. A little soggy on some of the back 9 holes. Tee boxes, greens and fairways all good.
19th hole pub and food excellent.
Good conditions
The course was in great shape especially given the time of the year. The layout is fair and fun
Starter sucked
Played our round under 4 hours and yet the starter came out to the 18th green to tell us to hurry up. Ruined what was a good round because the starter couldn’t keep his yellow teeth in his mouth.
