Getting swings in
I’ve played this course plenty of times. It’s convenient and always easy to walk up and start playing. The course was in good shape. Fairways and greens were decent, pins were in good positions and pace was excellent. A lot of hornets in multiple spots on throughout the course, but it was manageable. The price seems high for a walking 9 ($21). Nothing really to complain about course, can’t really say much about the staff as they basically just take your payment and turn back to what they were doing. Average experience all together, most likely will play there again to get steps in and work on my swing for a real track.
Local 9 Hole Course
Twin woods is a great course for the average Joe golfer. The dog legs make it challenging along with the tress by the Par 3. The staff have always been friendly and a great course to work on your game.
Love late winter rounds
Easy to get on and off the first tee. No waiting and the pace throughout the round was perfect. It’s a really good 9 hole course. The course calls for all types of shots, from driver to wedges. You could use every club in your bag in just 9 holes. The dog legs make the course longer than it is, but being winter could cut through the turns without the chance of losing a ball. The tee boxes were great as were the fairways. Can’t complain about the greens. They were clean and rolled great, a bit slow, but made it that more challenging. They need to chop that tree down on 7.
twin woods, great quick nine course
nice place for a quick practice 9. Fairways are burnt out, but tees and greens are good
great course for practicing
The greens were wonderful considering the time of the year.
open, flat and easy
Nice small course ,well kept ,pace of play not too bad. great for practicing irons. could use senior tee boxes i enjoyed myself and will return.
A good open course to practice on
Well taken care of. Open course. Mancured greens. Stay out of rough and you'll be fine
Poor Maintenance
The greens were pretty nice, but were pretty fast. They cut the grass and blow the shreds onto the fairway so I lost about 8 balls on the fairway for no reason. They were unorganized in terms of people coming on the course. There were two or three groups that hopped on hole 6, thankfully we were just ahead of them. It was not a very good experience but the lady in the Pro Shop was very polite.
Not overly impressed
Booked through golfnow, $19 including cart for 9 holes so it was not too pricey. However when I arrived there were no carts available and had to walk and we did not receive a cart until the 4th hole. The conditions were average.
Fast course for quick practice
The course offers a few challenges with ob on a few holes that make you stick with a decision. Any lack of commitment on a shot may end up in trouble. Course was a little sloppy on the day I played - after a heavy rain storm, but most things where in good shape.
Great Find
Really enjoyed this little 9 hole loop. Mostly flat but still challenging. Lots of severe doglegs and a long par 3. Harder than it looks. Great staff!!
