Mr. Hyde and Dr. Jekyll
Our group had a great time at the course yesterday. The weather was beautiful and the course was in good shape. I posted 7 Pars one in the front and six in the back nine. Met two gentlemen from the area and we complimented each other. The pace was average. Good time. Will return in the future.
Great first time playing!
Great time playing this course. Well maintained. I actually showed up on the wrong day and they got me in anyways.
Open course
The course was in very good condition. The overall course is wide open with some challenging greens. The pace of play was very slow on the front 9 but did open up on the back.
Course in decent layout and shape, but terribly managed.
Overall - avoid. Seems like this course is cutting a lot of corners just to optimize revenue and doesn't care about the experience of it's golfers at all. Course is alone is pretty good as a last resort for the price range, but on a Sunday afternoon we didn't tee off until 40 minutes after our actual scheduled time. We showed up to a line of groups waiting to tee off because supposedly "they had a frost delay in the morning" on a warmer spring day (?) that was a cover for the fact that they overbooked on top of not having enough working golf carts in rotation. Additionally, the woman who supposedly was the owner was running around angrily shouting at groups to get to the tee box once a golf cart would finally come off the 18th to be used for the next group, to mask the fact all the waiting wasn't their fault. It was a mess. A senior man passing by this same lady running the course, complained that the golf cart was stalling on him. She replied "well maybe you need to lose some weight" with a smirk on her face. I thought maybe they knew each other but he gave her a really dirty look and walked away. I was pretty stunned at what I just witnessed. Would be one star if the course itself didn't have the potential it would have with better management.
great time but got held up
we had a tee time for 320 on sunday and we showed up at 310 with therd being no golf carts and they were roughly 30 minutes behind schedule. so we didnt get onto the first tee until like 4 and barely got to finish because there was close to a 10 minute wait at every hole because everyone was held up. i love this course but that was very frustrating
Great day
I had a great day at this course. Professional staff and good condition
Great day
Course was open despite a large amount of rain the day prior. Good drainage. Green we’re fast. Professional staff. Highly recommend this course.
Hidden Gem
This course is tucked away in the farm land of Montgomery County. It’s not near a major highway or the turnpike, so it’s really a place utilized by locals. The course itself is great; rolling hills, steep slopes, challenging greens, and tee boxes with blind shots. Having a partner who has played the course, or an accurate GPS with pictures, is a huge help. The greens were in great shape for a February round and ran smooth and quick. Each green had multiple levels and breaks, making them very challenging. The course is wide open though and mis-shots can still be located and played. I’ll be back in the spring/summer to play it in it’s prime, but it’s been added to my rotation of courses away from my home-track.
