Gettysburg National
This Course was previously named Mountain View for at least 30 years and is now renamed, "Gettysburg National" It is a well-kept-up golf course and one of my favorites in the Gettysburg, PA area. The course layout is challenging but fair.
Very nice course
Booked through Golf Now, and when we arrived they didn't have any record of our reservation. Staff was very friendly and worked us in, as apparently the course will no longer be working with Golf Now. Pace of play was slow, as apparently when the course changed owners, they offered an amazing membership, and the course is always busy. It was still a beautiful day on the course, just wish it didn't take 4 1/2 hours to play.
Spring golf
After we were vaccinated for COVID we decided to take a road trip to Gettysburg from Maine. First visit. Checked for golf courses nearby and found Gettysburg National. What a great find. Course was fun and the price was right. Having beautiful weather also helped. A memorable experience.
Can’t beat the price!!!
Affordable golf with very friendly staff. Always enjoy playing here when I get a chance.
Dont use golfnow
Dont use golfnow it doesnt work the course said there computers dont recognize golfnow so there was no tee time
A must play
This course is a most play for any golfers that want to enjoy a great round of golf. The course is in excellent condition. The layout is great. The staff is superb.
Great Course
The back 9 is laid out differently than previous years. Very well maintained. If using the app to book a tie, call the course afterwards to make sure it went through.
GolfNow not synch’d. Lost Tee Time
Used GolfNow and had 1024 tee time. After 1 hour drive North and Arrived at Course to find out the synch between GN and Course does not work. They luckily had a tee time 30 minutes later. Paid for round and requested a bucket of balls for the inconvenience e and the young guy behind the counter refused to accommodate and wanted me to pay $10 for a bucket. I requested to speak to his boss and he said he was in the woods deer hunting. I still requested the phone number to call his boss and also requested my money back as I was no longer in the mood to play golf based on the drive in fog, frost delay and the fact they did not receive my tee time from GolfNow. I will be taking the processing fee up with GN as it obviously did not work.
Great course in the mountains
The play was a little slow but you can blame COVID for backing everything up.
Revamped!
Upon our arrival, my expectations for this course turned to differently since I was there two years ago. The course looks as much as different with more bunkers added. The tee boxes, greens, and fairways are well maintained.
A pro shop employee was a kind enough to grant us a rain check for 9 holes. We look forward to come back to complete the course real soon.
Nice moderate golf course
This course is nice for an easy round on a flat course. Despite being relatively flat, the course remains interesting.
The guy who checked me in did give me attitude for using GolfNow instead of booking direct. I understand, but if he doesn’t like it, he doesn’t need to use the service. GolfNow is the only reason he made 50ea from my buddy and me. Enough with the attitude!

I've driven by before on my way to gettysburg. If I lived closer I would have signed up for a membership yesterday. Loved the place.
