Excellent conditions, beautiful scenery
This course is a tremendous hidden gem in the Laurel Highlands. Great condition, friendly staff, and very reasonable rates. Because of covid the amenities were pretty much closed during the week,, but a regular told me the food and service, currently limited to weekends, is excellent. Nice layout with great mountain views. Would recommend highly!
Perfect Day
I was surprised how few people were playing on Labor Day. We never had to wait, and there was no one pushing us from behind. I could always retry the missed putt without worrying about someone waiting in the fairway to hit. The course is somewhat long, but very forgiving, so the stress level is minimal. All in all, this is a great place to play and enjoy with friends.
Labor Day
This course was in the best overall condition of all courses I’ve played this year.
Greens held nicely and were true to putt
Fairways and tees were first class
Greens keeper is a genius through this tough summer.
Nicest course
Linden hall is in fabulous shape, its been well maintained this year. They are currently doing a 1 person per cart thing which is speeding up pace of play.
in excellent condition
love playing this course. greens, fairways, ruff all very well maintained. will play it always
.
Misled again!
Made the tee time AND called the pro shop to double check their league times. Drove all the way out there. AGAIN! Just to find out. They allow their league players to butt in on the course wherever they want and as early as they want. This course is impossible to work with to play an entire round. Just not professional AT ALL!! Do yourself a favor. Play somewhere else. The course is very nice. I'll give them that. But not worth the headache for sure. But your call! All my playing buddies and I have moved on.
Sunny but windy day at Linden Hall
Course plays a little longer than some other public courses. Greens are also larger than other courses, and were consistent. One negative, bunkers were hard. It's time to put rakes out again or at least rake them first thing in the morning..
LHHB Linden Hall H.. B...
Course was in very nice condition. However, as I heard from many friends who have played this course, take your insect repellant. Linden Hall Has Bugs, (LHHB)...
Great course, poor schedule organization
Great course and afternoon. Everything is good......except one thing. This course, like others, have leagues and outings. The problem I had was when I made the tee time and hit to the course. I learned that they do not block out the times for leagues, ect. So you may just make a tee time, drive all the way out there just to find out you can only play the front 9 twice, or that your S.O.L. or something along those lines. I just think that kind of disregard for your customers time is pretty not cool.
Bugs were back
The bugs were back on #1 and #2 greens but not as bad as before. The rest of the course was pretty much bug free. The course was again it great shape with the greens rolling nicely, unrepaired ball marks were at a minimum, bunker sand was nice but no rakes and fairways and ruffs were in very nice shape. A very nice day.
Level course and nice
Great course, level and great condition. Green and fairways in country club condition. No amenities during week. Restaurant only open Friday and Weekend. Not too crowded either. A bit of a drive from Pittsburgh, but worth it.
Linden Hall is still great
This summer many courses are dry and burned out.
LH is in great shape.
4th round this year
This is the fourth round of golf I have played here this year and the course has been in great shape. The last two rounds have been bug free which makes the game very enjoyable here. The greens are getting a bit chewed up from people not fixing their ball mark's but still very nice.
Try it.
If you haven't played Linden Hall, you owe it to yourself to play here. The course is in top condition and it is a good challenge for any golfer. The little gnats are still present on a few holes but not as much of an issue as they once were.
Linden Hall Outing
Nice greens, fairways decent shape, rough was a little dry. Beatiful day to golf. We will be back again.
