Loch Nairn
Great course. Some of the best greens I have ever played, challenging and manicured very well.
Tee Boxes
The track was on par for a public course, the tee boxes were uneven and showed a lot of wear and tear. The bunkers were decent with plenty of sand and the greens were almost perfect. The corse needs a killer bit of help but not too much. Overall I enjoyed my experience as I have played here before, and I would play here again.
Would play again!
A bit windy today but lots of sun added to the pleasure of playing Loch Nairn today. Nice elevation changes and dog legs scattered among mostly straighter paths. Some hidden water hazards tempted my discourse, but we enjoyed the round thoroughly. A few of the tee boxes were a bit barren but the greens ran quick and true and the fairways in great shape. Afterwards the pub afforded us the opportunity to enjoy the view while savoring the crab cake that the accented waiter, a great guy, provided on a bun versus the dinner choice. A burger to my wife with sides of sweet potato fries and cold Victory barley pop. Well done, and will return again!
Great staff and nice course layout
This course would've received an excellent rating if it weren't for the Tee boxes. Fairways and greens 2 thumbs up. More TLC for the Tee boxes is needed. I'll still keep coming back.
Great for the money
I loved the course even though it had poured the night before. The staff was super friendly and wanted to make sure we had a great time!! Their main priority was making you feel welcome! It was pretty Ickes but their was a dander on hand making sure the pace of play was up to par! I feel
Like everyone who work there was very genuine and it was an all-around great atmosphere and experience! I would definitely recommend this course to any of my friends!
It’s an inexpensive track
I like this track because I can always get a tee time and it’s inexpensive. It needs TLC for sure, especially the tee boxes. It holds a fair amount of water but dries out in most areas. The cart path will break your tail bone if you’re not careful as there are many humps, lumps and tree roots to navigate. Drive carefully. All in all, the course is a 3.6 star rating.
Very Enjoyable Day
I really like this course for my intermediate level play. It has some pretty hard holes, but some forgiving features as well. The course is generally in good condition for a public course. Recommended.
Loch nairn
Great value, good condition, excellent amenities and service
Enjoyed the round
Course was fun. Frost delay in morning. Staff was great in getting us out in a timely manner. Very friendly and informative. #3 fairway in kind of rough shape as I don’t believe it drains well but other than that course in good condition. Will be back
October play
Hadn’t played there in 25 years. Course has a nice layout with quiet lack of noise play. Some fairways had damage, but all in all no issue. Greens were soft and true, no crops of weeds like some courses.
Great no frills golf
Greens were very nice and free of the typical ball marks you normally see at lower cost public courses. A number of holes are target golf where you don’t need your driver, but most have wide landing zones without much risk. A few holes have very small greens that make the course interesting and quaint. If you are accurate from 150 in and putt OK, you can expect to score well.
Awful Course
This course was in horrible condition. I know it was going to be an issue when it charged $16 additional for cart per person on top of the $40 for round. The tee boxes were awful. The fairways awful. Most greens not bad. Hot dogs were cold at 1130am. The signature holes #1 and #10 right in front of club house may have had the worst tee boxes of all. Very uneven and couldn’t even determine which side wills the best bet. Would not recommend or play again especially for the price and hidden fees
